davebooth, mother of a wonderful son, a seamstress by trade, a pagan in faith, and a totally sealy person. I'm also called Seal Woman, or Seal Momma by some. I love fiber arts - felting, knitting, and spinning (both yarn and yarns). We brew excellent beer, love to cook, and are all musically inclined.
I am a skilled seamstress - my business is called Meadowlake Arts - it doesn't have a website yet, I've just not gotten around to it. I do period costuming, wedding outfits, teddy bears for gentlemen, and just plain nice basic CLOTHES! My email is listed above if you are interested in any of these.

I poached my fantastic husband from England so we visit there often. My parents have now retired to rural France in the Deux Sevres region.
Selkie? well... long story, but *I* began to understand why someone called me that years ago when I was in college and had an internship on San Juan Island (Washington State) at a wildlife rehabilitation center. Their primary work was to rescue and rehab orphaned and abandoned seal pups. One look into their eyes and one touch and I dropped my old nickname and took on the one I'd been told I should have used many years before that.
